This package helps a customer configure a supported backup destination for one Windows or macOS computer and confirm that a sample file can be restored.
What is included
- Review of the customer’s backup objective and available storage destination
- Configuration of one supported local or cloud backup solution
- Selection of agreed user folders for backup
- Configuration of a reasonable schedule and retention settings supported by the chosen solution
- Initial backup status check
- One sample-file restore test
- Short handover summary describing the configured schedule and basic customer checks
Delivery process
- We normally contact you within two business days after accepting the order.
- We confirm the computer, data volume, destination and available subscription.
- A remote appointment is arranged by mutual availability.
- The initial configuration and sample restore are completed when the connection, storage and data are available.
Customer requirements
- One functioning Windows or macOS computer
- A stable internet connection for cloud backup
- A compatible backup destination with sufficient capacity
- An active customer-owned subscription where the chosen provider requires one
- Administrator access and authorization to configure the device
Not included
- Backup-storage hardware, cloud storage or subscription charges
- Network-attached storage, servers, multiple computers or enterprise environments
- Recovery from damaged, encrypted, inaccessible or failed media
- Continuous monitoring or responsibility for future backup jobs
- A guarantee that every future file or system state will be recoverable
The customer remains responsible for monitoring future backup results, maintaining the storage subscription and periodically testing restores.
